About the branch

The Regional Victoria Division is responsible for the service delivery of initiatives, programs and services. On-ground works and services will conserve environments, protect culture and heritage, manage visitor facilities and improve opportunities and support fire and emergency management. The Regional resources will support environmental, social and economic outcomes for rural, regional and urban communities. Service delivery is managed and delivered within the demands of the Divisional Action plan and the requirements of the Division's statewide fire and emergency role and in partnership with community and government agencies.

About the role

The Business Support Administrator is a supporting function that provides administrative support. The role is a generalist administrative position that provides a variety of administrative and transactional support to the business. It provides support for administrative transactional tasks such as data entry, reimbursements, training information and data management. The role provides high level administrative and corporate support functions, including preparation of submissions, reports and other correspondence; organisation of meetings and conferences, including the preparation and dissemination of minutes and other documentation arising from project related meetings and events; collate necessary HR/finance forms. To be successful for this role you need:

 

A track record as an effective member of an admin/business support team, including proficient use of relevant systems and software.

 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office.
  • Proficient in use of email and internet.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Accurate keyboard skills.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures.
  • TAFE business certificate or equivalent desirable.
