Coliban Region Water Corporation is based in Bendigo and is one of the largest Victorian regional urban water corporations. Our service area covers 16,550 square kilometres including 49 towns and is at the southern gateway to the Murray-Darling basin – Australia's food bowl. About the role

SCADA Support Officer role is part of the Service and Infrastructure group and has a pivotal contribution to Coliban Water's success by being focussed on ensuring Coliban Water provides high quality customer services by efficiently and effectively managing water resources, water and wastewater systems, creating and managing infrastructure, oversight of our strategic partners and planning for long term growth and development of the region.

This position's primary focus is on the software systems that support the overall SCADA system including but not limited to SCADA Historian, Citect SCADA, ClearSCADA and associated reporting systems.


What we are looking for

To be successessful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology/Information Systems and/or substantive experience in systems software development, network administration or system administration
  • Experience with software development  specifically creating business class reporting tools
  • Experience working with or developing corporate databases, computer and software systems
  • Software development experience (preferably utilising .net)
  • SQL Server Reporting Services experience
  • SQL Server Reporting Services experience
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to lead small project teams

The salary classification and employment conditions for this position are in accordance with the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2017 Band 3. The pay range and a salary will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
