As we build the WorkSafe of the future we're committed to delivering industry best practice to our people, our customers and the wider community.

Reporting to the Executive Director – Innovation, this critical role will lead the establishment of the Innovation roadmap for WorkSafe Victoria. This unique and exciting position will appeal to your desire to lead an Innovation Centre, overseeing the piloting of new products and services. You will lead change initiatives and be instrumental in facilitating innovation, through ‘design thinking' and facilitating recruitment of client engagement, fostering a ‘client centric' focus for collaboration and innovation.  Leading a growing team of Innovation professionals, you will lead and cultivate engagement with key stakeholders to optimise and support the WorkSafe 2030 strategy.

As Innovation Centre Director, you are a highly strategic thought leader with a demonstrable record of success in engaging stakeholders, developing new approaches and capabilities and fostering an innovative culture.  You possess proven strategic thinking and leadership engagement skills with a background in successfully creating and inspiring collaboration while designing and leading a shared vision for design thinking and innovation.  You have built high performing teams and can shift mindsets utilizing your strong stakeholder engagement, leadership and strategic influencing skills.   With a background within Government or a large, complex matrix environment, you possess a growth mindset and the confidence to lead, advise and build trust on a broader scale.
