About the role
Join ACMI as our Content and Social Media Manager on a fixed term contract opportunity. The role is responsible for the development and execution of organic social campaigns, and support of paid campaigns, growing ACMI's social audiences through the production of compelling content.
What you'll bring to the role
- Proven expertise in integrated social media strategies (paid & organic) driving awareness and engagement.
- Strong content development skills with the ability to craft ideas aligned to brand identity, organisational values, and tone of voice, backed by highly developed writing, producing and editing abilities.
- Community management experience, including issues management.
- Hands-on experience with Brandwatch, Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Meta Creative Hub, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Business Manager, Google Analytics, and platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Proficiency in influencer engagement, both earned and paid, from sourcing through to contracting and briefing content creators.
- Skilled in managing complex social media workflows — content calendars, creative briefing, and coordinated cross-channel execution aligned to broader organisational objectives.
- Experience in cross-functional marketing teams, with an understanding of understanding of channel attribution, measurement frameworks, audience behaviours, and platform algorithms with market-specific creative tailoring.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills; proven ability to build relationships with influencers and content creators across the Australian arts, culture, and entertainment media landscape.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, translating data into actionable insights to optimise strategy and inform evidence-based planning.
