Position Details

The role of Director, HR Operations and Workplace Relations is a pivotal one in leading and developing the Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition practices within our HR Operations function.  This role is also a key strategic advisor on workplace relations strategy and implementation.

Reporting to the Executive Director – People & Culture, this position will ensure the provision of high quality, client focussed HR business partner solutions and Best Practice ER/IR solutions to WorkSafe business leaders and employees. As an experienced people leader, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of HR Business Partners, Workplace Relations and Talent Acquisition professionals to embed the WorkSafe people strategy across all client groups in an effective and efficient manner.

Partnering with WorkSafe Leaders and relevant stakeholders, you will provide best practice HR support in a time of transformational change across the organisation.  You have significant generalist HR experience with strong change management and cultural engagement program implementation expertise and a desire to make a difference in supporting the entire WorkSafe workforce.

You can demonstrate experience in industrial relations practice including developing and interpreting industry Awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and relevant federal and state employment legislation e.g. Fair Work Act, Equal Opportunity Act (Vic), Occupational Health &

Safety Act (Vic) and Accident Compensation Act (Vic).
