About the role

The role of the Technical Specialist BMC Remedy is to perform complex third level operational/or project activities within service management and project frameworks, governance standards, guidelines, policies and standards to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, ensure service levels are met or exceeded, ensure the continuing health and operational availability and capability of services to customers, and contribute to completion of project on time and within budget. This role will cover one or more infrastructure and Cloud technologies and will require frequent collaboration with stakeholder of all levels.




  • Plan, manage, develop, and maintain a high level of technical support for the environment to ensure the integrity, security and accessibility of the organisations data
  • Analyse and prepare technical reports
  • Advise senior stakeholders on technical standards, solutions and initiative
  • Perform operational and project activities within CenITex ITIL based service management guidelines and security policies and standards


About You


  • Minimum 8 years of expert knowledge      and experience in the BMC Remedy suite of products and BMC Digital      Workplace (MyIT)
  • Experience with the integration of Remedy      with other BMC tools such as BPPM, ADDM, Atrium Orchestrator, Remedy      Single Sign-On, BMC Digital Workplace(MyIT), Service Impact Manager,      Service Level Manager and Dashboard and Analytics will be well regarded
  • Atrium Orchestrator expertise is highly      desirable
  • Has a strong customer focus, can-do attitude      and a proven team-player
