Position Summary:


Working in the Out-of-Home Care Unit within the Children and Families Policy branch, this position will form part of a dynamic  team required to undertake service development and design, and practice and service support for a range of internally and externally delivered programs. These programs are designed to support vulnerable children and adolescents in out-of-home care arrangements, the majority of whom are statutory clients of the department.

A sound understanding of the Out-of-Home Care system is important, as is the ability to work closely with professionals across the department, and with the community service sector.

The position requires high level written and verbal communication skills, ability to be responsive to tasks including the ability to provide high level responses in a timely manner and will be required to contribute to a variety of work priorities within the unit.
