Position Summary:

This position plays an integral role in supporting the continuous improvement and implementation of operational policy, guidelines and funding frameworks focused on children, families, disability and housing.

The Principal Program Officer manages a team of six staff and reports to the Manager, Housing Practice Support. The role will deliver a range of key projects, including responsibility in managing the implementation of state wide public housing operational guidelines, be outcome focused and contribute to the service performance and governance arrangements across the department. As such, highly developed skills in leading collaboration and achieving commitment to inter and intra-organisational action are required.
