About Us

Coliban Region Water Corporation is based in Bendigo and is one of the largest Victorian regional urban water corporations. Our service area covers 16,550 square kilometres including 49 towns. We manage, maintain and operate 34 reservoirs and water storage basins and provide water and waste water services to both urban and rural customers.

About the role

This role is part of the Account Solutions Team which primarily focuses on providing solutions to customers regarding their outstanding debt. You will also assist vulnerable customers to access Victorian concession programs and offer referrals to external agencies that may further assist the customer.


This is a full time permanent position. The salary classification and employment conditions for this position are in accordance with the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2017  Band 2.

The salary range is $ 54,404 - $66,502, and a salary will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum Year 12 education or Certificate III in Business/Finance qualification and/or several years' experience in debt recovery and/or delivering on a hardship program.
  • Highly developed, effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve grievances, conflict and complaints while achieving desired outcomes.
  • A team player, with a proven record in creating a positive and supportive work environment that results in a high performing team achieving objectives and demonstrating continuous improvement in quality and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake complex problem solving and reach a decision, or make a judgement, on what is the best outcome for the customer and the organisation.
