About the Team

The ticketing system consists of approximately 24,000 in field assets across 20 asset types, the vast majority of which are customer facing; a central (back office) system, including an ERP & EAM system, with full financial reconciliation and third-party settlements.

Each asset type is built on a commonly used Operating System (e.g. Windows, Linux) and in most cases interface is through a bespoke ticketing application software layer.

The Ticketing Technical & Delivery team is tasked with governing and assuring the ticketing service providers meets their obligations in the management and performance of the myki ticketing system and its assets. The team is also accountable for the forecasting and ordering of assets to meet the needs of network growth, and that asset obsolescence is adequately managed.

A key aspect of the team's responsibility is exploring and assessing opportunities to enhance the ticketing system and improving the customer experience in the focus areas of time and effort, personalisation, empathy and expectations towards a vision of “helping people connect with life”

About You

  • assuring the customer experience is not compromised due to an unavailability of ticketing assets.
  • maintaining accurate records on all ticketing field assets.
  • supporting internal and external parties, as DoT's ticketing asset subject matter expert (SME)
  • Strong understanding of asset management frameworks and/ or plans
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of expert advice and recommendations
  • Experience working within commercial and contractual frameworks
