Our purpose is to ensure fairness for Victorians in their dealings with the public sector, to improve public administration and to foster confidence in the integrity of the sector. About your new role:

The Senior Investigation Officer (Investigations) works in our Investigations team.

The purpose of the Investigations team is to:

• assess and investigate Protected Disclosure Complaints alleging improper conduct by Victorian public officers and bodies

• investigate systemic issues by Victorian public bodies

• resolve and investigate complaints about the administrative actions and decisions of Victorian public bodies.

In alignment with the:

• Protected Disclosure Act 2012 (Vic)

• Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006 (Vic)

• Ombudsman Act 1973 (Vic)

This Senior Investigation Officer has regular interactions with members of the public, including marginalised communities, as well as public sector agencies.
