Position Details
Reporting to the Manager, Government Relations, the Senior Adviser, Stakeholder Engagement will be responsible for supporting and maintaining effective working relationships with government stakeholders, including local Members of Parliament (MPs) representing communities affected by the Suburban Rail Loop project.
The Senior Adviser, Stakeholder Engagement will support the development and delivery of advice to senior internal and external stakeholders to guide engagement and sustain positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders across local, state and federal governments. In addition, they will play a key role in developing material for briefings and the coordination and administrative support of Precinct Reference Groups and other consultation forums and events.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to building great relationships with stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of advice on government stakeholder issues
- Identifying and responding promptly to specific project-related stakeholder issues
- Provide support to the SRLA Manager Government Relations on stakeholder liaison groups
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor (or higher) qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Public Policy or a related discipline; or commensurate relevant working experience
Desirable:

Experience working in government and/or on significant and complex infrastructure projects.
