The Senior Advisor – Governance and Projects assists the Executive Director Corporate and the Executive Team with driving a range of whole of organisation governance and planning related projects. The role leads the Secretariat function for the Royal Botanic Gardens Board as well as coordinating strategic planning, monitoring and reporting processes for the organisation. 

Success Profile

  • Post Graduate studies and qualifications/experience in Business Management with highly developed Project Management skills 
  • Experience with high-level committee governance and provision of secretariat services
  • Stakeholder management capabilities to operate at Board, Executive and key external stakeholder level influencing key priorities.
  • Project management experience with the ability to influence organisation wide strategic imperatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to write clearly and persuasively for discerning audiences such as Board, Executive and government.
  • Highly developed presentation skills that operate at Board, Executive and key external stakeholder level.
  • Sound judgement to inform effective and appropriate action.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills that identify and propose appropriate courses of action.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple priorities.
