About Us

Coliban Region Water Corporation is based in Bendigo and is one of the largest Victorian regional urban water corporations. Our service area covers 16,500 square kilometres including 49 towns and is at the southern gateway to the Murray – Darling Basin – Australia's food bowl. We manage, maintain and operate over 50 reservoirs and water storage basins and provide water and waste water services to both urban and rural customers.

About the role

Over the next 12 months Coliban Water will implement and adopt new business practices and technology for billing, revenue, customer solutions and customer service. We are seeking a Change Manager to help manage the delivery of this fast-moving and complex program of customer-focused business transformation projects.

The Change Manager will work as a member of a cross-functional team, with a focus on the people side of an ambitious new systems implementation program, and will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing change management strategies and plans, including communications, engagement and training plans and activities
  • Ensuring staff are effectively prepared to transition to a future state
  • Mentoring senior business leaders in driving change adoption
  • Cooperating in day to day activities with suppliers who are responsible for delivering aspects of the program to successfully implement changes.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in business, communications or information technology
  • Several years' experience in change management, project/program management and/or organisational change projects
  • Experience with recognised project and Agile methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK or Scrum
  • Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work constructively across different areas of the business and different organisations to achieve outcomes, and to influence, negotiate and resolve conflict between stakeholders.

This is a fixed term position for 12 months, with a potential for a review and further 12 month extension.

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2017 Band 4. The salary range is $81K – $103K (base) and a salary will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
