Position Details

The role is key in ensuring the strategic alignment of ICT projects and building business confidence in Information Services. You will lead the delivery of ICT projects across ISD to ensure quality outcomes and adoption of agile methodology.

The Information Services Division will be at the forefront of technology solutions and expertise to best deliver our customers' technology needs. We will apply best-practice methods and techniques to deliver, operate and govern our technology products and services, we will deliver cost-effective technology solutions and embed our customer's needs into all our decision-making.

The Director, Project Delivery is responsible for leading the implementation of the ICT Project Delivery Framework for DELWP, establishing a Project Management Office, defining and delivering the organisation's ICT project portfolio, and fostering the ICT project management practices. The Director will ensure uplift of project governance capability across DELWP.

To be successful you will have:

ICT Project Management experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is mandatory. A relevant tertiary qualification or 10+ years of experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

You will manage strategic relationships and foster effective links across the whole department and with counterparts across Victorian government agencies. The Director will also represent the department at Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) committees and forums and play a major role in building a robust culture of performance, delivery and continuous improvement across Information Services.
