About the Department

This exciting opportunity exists in the Local Government Victoria (LGV) division and will assist with the following:

•           Providing program and administrative support to the Sector Innovation, Performance & Resilience Branch in the delivery of its programs and projects;
•           Providing administrative support to the Director Sector Innovation, Performance and Resilience and Senior Managers;
•           Preparing correspondence, presentations and documents on behalf of the Director and Senior Managers;
•           Maintaining and following up tracking systems for all relevant Ministerial briefs and correspondence within the DELWP network;
•           Maintaining and/or developing recording processes necessary to monitor and control papers, records and other information and assist with communications activities for Local Government Victoria;
•           Working collaboratively across the Branch, Local Government Victoria and the Department to ensure that business systems and processes work effectively;
•           Participating in meetings where required and acting as Minute Secretary and co-ordinating associated agendas in conjunction with LGV's Executive Director and Directors;
•           Scheduling appointments, arranging meetings and making travel arrangements for the Director and branch staff; and
•           Providing advice, information and support to stakeholders, including the public and assisting with inquiries.

This is an ongoing, flexible (full or part time) position.
