Position Details

The Senior Support Analyst will leverage a deep understanding of the Land Use Victoria business applications to provide support to end users and other service delivery areas, ensuring prompt prioritisation and investigation of systems issues through devising corrections, providing advice, manipulating data, or defining enhancements. The Senior Support Analyst will engage with end users, developers and colleagues in other areas (including external parties) to maintain, build and share their expertise as well as review proposed changes to affected business applications to ensure changes are technically sound and appropriately risk-managed.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Completion of a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in Information and Communications Technology.
  • Understanding of database structures and experience with SQL scripting.
  • Desirable – Foundation level certification in IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL4).
