An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Spatial Analyst to join the Planning Information Services team at DELWP. As the Senior Spatial Analyst, you will lead and manage the implementation and maintenance of online mapping application and services, and design and deliver spatial analysis to the Planning Group using the available tools and technologies. You will develop initiatives to ensure the continual improvement of processes to maintain Planning and related datasets and ensure quality software development processes are followed along with maintenance of comprehensive documentation.

As the successful candidate, you will hold a relevant qualification and experience in spatial and/or Computer science, with a strong understanding of the ArcGIS Framework supported by significant experience in implementing ESRI and Geocortex technologies. You will also have in depth experience using Python, FME and JavaScript, including the use of scripts to solve spatial problems. Highly desirable, you will have demonstrated experience working on spatial projects and service delivery expertise within the public and private sectors, have experience working with 3D spatial technologies, and be familiar with web mapping platforms, including Geocortex and Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS.
