The Building Policy Branch is responsible for strategic policy development and reform to deliver the Government's priorities for the building sector. This includes responding to the challenges of population growth and changes in construction techniques to ensure a high quality, safe and sustainable built environment.

The Business Support Officer is part of the Building Policy Branch and will provide high quality and timely administrative, project and business support to the Branch. This includes accounts payable, procurement and related advice and assistance, and business operations support and services, including equipment, facilities and accommodation related services. As the Business Support Officer, you will have strong problem solving and customer service skills and work effectively with team members and staff across the Building Division and Planning Group. You will also work as part of a team to ensure that the business services and operations processes and practices of the Building Policy Branch are accurate, of high quality and compliant with Departmental policy and procedures.
