Position Details
The Executive Support Officer contributes to the core function of the Office of the Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability by providing a wide range of executive support, administrative, finance and business services to the Office.
The role will bring a high level of confidentiality, responsiveness, initiative, efficient administrative and communications support to the office. It will coordinate high level meetings, provide contract management support, confidentiality agreements and adherence with legislative requirements, and assist in business audits and reporting.
Developing and maintaining systems and processes across CES the role will enable end-to-end support within the Office.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of protocols associated with working in a Senior Executive office within government including governance, reporting and procurement, with a proven ability to operate effectively within a confidential work environment. Requires a proactive approach, high degree of attention to detail, and expereince co-ordinating high level meetings.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of accounts payable processes within Oracle.
This is a fixed term, part time (0.8) position available for a period of 24 months. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street Melbourne, with hybrid work arrangements available.
