Position Details

The Executive Assistant supports the Deputy Secretary to provide strategic and operational advice to meet the priorities of government and the Victorian community in forest, fire and emergency management.

This role is responsible for responding to external and internal enquiries, liaising with senior level management and a variety of stakeholders, and monitoring the Deputy Secretary's inbox to ensure workflow is triaged effectively.

The role requires a person experienced in meeting coordination and support. They will also have the ability to work autonomously to deliver work in a high-pressure environment with integrity and resilience and a proven ability to build trust through consistent actions, values and communication.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Advanced computer skills and digital literacy - Performs a range of tasks through digital tools including the Microsoft suite of applications e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
