The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) has a requirement to fill a Reporting and Data Management Stream Lead vacancy.

About the Role

The Reporting and Data Management Stream Lead is part of the Technology Solutions Unit within the Infrastructure and Resources Division. The division is an important part of Victoria's fire and emergency management arrangements, playing a key role in enabling DELWP to efficiently, effectively and safely meet its emergency management responsibilities.

This role is responsible for the management of SQL Server databases and cloud infrastructure that support over 30 mission critical applications that enable effective management of fire and other emergencies.

About You

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced database and system engineer to contribute to the ongoing maintenance of key emergency management systems.  You must have experience with management and optimisation of SQL Server databases and general infrastructure management of predominantly Microsoft Server, VmWare. vSphere, SCOM, SCCM, AD.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 14 months.
