Position Details

About you

You are an experienced service management professional with people management experience and exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. You are passionate about creating a supportive, empowering team environment and delivering exceptional customer service. You are resilient, able to handle changing priorities and pivot when needed.

The successful candidate will be able to translate technical jargon into language that makes sense to our business users and work comfortably with our technical teams. We are looking for a candidate who can rapidly establish trust and actively support operational improvements to our service management processes.

  • You will have the option to work from a DELWP office anywhere in Victoria, as well as working remotely (3:2 split).   
  • This role includes providing rostered technology support during the Victorian fire season. While this may include weekend and evening work, it will entitle you to additional pay (on top of your base pay) and additional leave. 

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications(s) in business technology, ICT, or related discipline. 
  • Demonstrable service management experience in a technology environment. 
  • Experience providing first contact services within a DevSecOps and cloud platform software development environment would be beneficial.
  • Expert-level understanding of ICT service management frameworks, such as ITIL. 
  • Demonstrable experience in a people management role.
  • Experience using the Atlassian product suite (JIRA Service Management/JIRA Core, Confluence) would be beneficial.
