Position Details

The Senior Project Officer- Procurement and Contracts will manage and support the delivery of high quality procurement and contract management services in the Roads and Fixed Assets unit within the Forest and Fire Assets Branch.

The purpose of this role is to manage and support service excellence in delivering procurement and contract management services, including including development of tender and contract documentation, management of tender and contract processes, monitoring of contractor performance, coordinating and monitoring progress of the procurement program, undertaking reporting and mentoring of procurement staff.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering high quality works and construction procurement and contract management services including tendering, probity, competition processes, handling of claims and contract management.
  • Experience in government procurement and contract management would be highly regarded.

This is a fixed term position available until 2 April 2023. The location of this position is negotiable.
