Position Details

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Fire Officer (DCFO) Grampians Region, the Executive Assistant will provide high level executive support, and accurate advice and information to the DCFO and the Forest and Fire Operations Division (FFOD) Grampians leadership team, in line with expectations, and consistent with policy and program directions.

Are you:

  • highly organised and able to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders?
  • savvy with challenging diary management, meeting coordination, maintenance of administrative support systems and procedures?
  • able to prepare quality assured correspondence, briefing notes and other complex documentation on behalf of the DCFO?
  • possess well-developed verbal communication, with interpersonal skills and experience to respond to detailed, confidential, and sensitive matters with a high level of tact and judgement?
  • wanting to experience, or would like to continue contributing to a State emergency fire role?

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Executive administration experience

This is an ongoing position located flexibly within the Grampians region.
