Position Details

In this role you will assist with the coordination and implementation of fire management operations across the Metro District. You will work in a team of people in partnership with other agencies to coordinate preparedness for fire and emergency management.

In this role you will assist in the coordination of District Duty rosters, and in the delivery of district pre-season briefings and post season debriefs for fire and other emergencies. Asist in the coordination of the fire training program within the district including the development of staff, Emergency Role Development Plans and succession planning. Undertake investigation and projects in support of key programs in the Metro District .

This position requires a person with demonstrated stakeholder management, project management and problem solving skills. This position has a key role to play in influencing municipal fire/emergency management planning and other key stakeholders.
