The Land & Built Environment Program Officer will provide land and built environment services to the regional priority public land projects and programs, including guidance and sound advice in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, guidelines and budgets. Additionally, they will provide specialist environmental and land use planning advice and services to customers and internal and external stakeholders, as well as effective Crown property administration services and property transactions, in accordance with departmental and program policies, directions and objectives.

As the successful candidate, you will be required to contribute to the delivery of group and departmental priorities, and to building an inclusive and high performing workforce that is customer focused, collaborative, professional and engaged. You will have demonstrated knowledge of the communities and Crown land use issues in the Gippsland region, as well as desirably holding a relevant qualification or practical experience relating to interpreting and applying legislation and policies related in environmental management and Crown land administration.

You are highly organised and capable of managing your workload and enjoy taking initiative in suggesting improvements to processes and systems.

This is a Fixed Term position available until August 2020.
