This role will have a strong working relationship with DELWP's Finance division. The Group Finance Manager will leverage this partnership and understanding of the business to lead Finance's contribution towards the Energy group. Manage, lead and motivate a team of financial management and performance professionals to provide exceptional customer service to the Group's divisions and deliver actions identified in the Energy Group business plan. Set direction for and oversee the delivery of Group-led budgeting, supporting the annual group business plan process. Develop and maintain a financial management environment across the Group that promotes and supports performance excellence with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Develop strong working partnerships in the Group and DELWP-wide to ensure an in-depth understanding of business drivers and priorities to provide advice on current and emerging issues. Leverage working partnerships and understanding of the business by providing expert advice regarding departmental strategy, performance, priorities and funding and support known and emerging departmental priorities by working flexibly to focus effort where it is most required in the Group.
