Position Details

The Category Manager, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) provides expertise, advice and assistance relating to the procurement and management of ICT related requirements as well as the development and ownership of the ICT category management strategy, vendor management strategy and any associated policies and processes.

You will also provide leadership and advice to the Procurement branch on a range of functions in support of the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Procurement or Information Technology is desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of procurement practices and procedures, category management, including demonstrated capacity to understand and apply the Victorian Government Purchasing Board guidelines with minimum two years relevant experience

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
