The role is responsible for creating the vision and hands on coaching of Project Managers, Product Owners, teams, stakeholders and senior leadership on adoption and embedding of Agile practices. A key focus will be working with teams across Planning Information Services to embed agile practices supporting the development lifecycle and business as usual activities. Develop, implement and maintain best-practice agile capability within a public sector environment including developing an Agile community of practice. This will include hands on coaching of Project Managers, Product Owners, teams, stakeholders and senior leadership. Establish and maintain an agile toolkit which will include resources to support, guide, coach and help upskill the Agile community. Foster key strategic relationships and supporting culture to facilitate a partnership approach and ensure that projects are implemented in a collaborative and effective manner.

Reporting to the Director Planning Information Services, as an Agile practitioner and coach, this senior position requires a strong strategic thinker with effective stakeholder management skills, strong organisation and communication skills, energy and motivation, and experience in establishing and developing Agile practises and culture. 

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 2 years.
