The Building Policy Branch is responsible for. strategic policy development and reform to deliver the Government's priorities for. the building sector. This includes responding to the challenges of population growth and changes in construction techniques to ensure a high quality, safe and sustainable built environment.

The Senior. Project Officer is responsible for. supporting the coordination of governance, business performance, planning and evaluation and monitoring outcomes of projects across the Building Policy Branch. This role will develop and manage the coordination of processes, in conjunction with others, to ensure the Building Policy Branch implements actions arising out of review of the building legislative framework in a timely and effective manner. You will provide support and advice to the Project Manager Reform and Senior. Divisional Managers and be a key liaison for. business performance, planning and evaluation activities for. key projects.

You will use your technical skills and abilities to plan and manage the coordination of governance, planning and evaluation of implementation actions, ensure the various reporting requirements are met with minimal impact on the team and information requests are provided in a timely manner. You will also provide a secretariat role to the independent advisory panel for. review.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 3 years.
