The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) has a requirement to fill a Program Manager vacancy within the Office of the Conservation Regulator (OCR).  The OCR is accountable for the delivery of DELWP's regulatory responsibilities in timber harvesting, biodiversity, fire prevention and public land use. The OCR's mission is to be an effective, trusted, best practice regulator – increasing transparency, improving relationships and regulatory capability to deliver on regulatory outcomes.

The Program Manager provides strategic, operational, issues management and governance advice and support to the Director Regulatory Operations.

The Program Manager oversees and drives effective business planning, operational reporting, and governance support for the Regulatory Operations Branch. Specific responsibilities will include leading support to the Director in ensuring effective coordination across the unit managers within the Branch and working with the unit managers to drive the effective implementation of changes in regulatory practice by Regulatory Operations staff.
