Position Details

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Conservation Regulator, in the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).

Are you passionate about conservation matters particularly to do with compliance of wildlife possession and trade matters?

This role requires a professional who is effective and driven to acheive results and had strong teamwork skills. The role also requires strong investigation skills, as well as an ability to build and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of wildlife industry is essential.
  • An appropriate qualification in investigations either Diploma of Government Investigations or Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or approved equivalent would be desirable.
  • Demonstrated, in-depth understanding of Victoria's wildlife legislation is highly desirable.
