Position Details

An exciting opportunity to join the Energy Group Project Management Office as a Procurement Specialist. The successful applicant will be asked to provide expertise, advice and assistance relating to the Energy Group's procurement activities including supporting business units with the procurement process using the skills necessary to identify saving opportunities, creatively negotiate with suppliers, and generate contracts to ensure seamless availability of products and services needed to support the Renewable Energy Transition. The successful applicant will enjoy working in a fast paced environment, looking for ways to improve processes and stakeholder experiences, will be team oriented and have excellent communication, collaboration, and coordination skills.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of procurement practices and procedures, including capacity to understand and apply the Victorian Government Purchasing Board guidelines.
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification or extensive experience in procurement and contract management is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 May 2025. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
