Position Details

The project Support Officer will undertake administrative tasks to support the Aboriginal Water Unit, in the delivery of the Aboriginal Water Program. The position will support with the implementation of Water is Life: Traditional Owner access to water Roadmap and the Water, Country and Community grant program. The position will also assist with the coordination of the quarterly Aboriginal Water Officer Network meetings and provide administrative support to the Network.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A knowledge and understanding of the contemporary issues and historical impacts affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and a proven ability to engage with Aboriginal communities effectively and sensitively.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 September 2026. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
