Position Details

The role of the Land and Built Environment Senior Program Officer (Contaminated Land) is to lead the contaminated land rehabilitation program on Crown Land in the Port Phillip Region, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as EPA Notices and to share contaminated land specialised skills across the regions within Victoria when needed.  As part of this growing role, it will include leading the delivery of other land focused infrastructure and risk programs and grants and supporting Crown Land managers.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in contaminated land rehabilitation and management, infrastructure and engineering, land management, and/or EPA laws and regulations are desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable.  These may include contaminated land, engineering, earth sciences and project management.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 September 2023. This position is located at Knoxfield, Victoria.
