Position Details

As the Culture and Workforce Officer you will support key culture and workforce activities within the Planning Group specifically focusing on the provision of advice to managers and staff. Working as a key member of a dynamic team that ensures timely and high-quality direction and solutions across the Planning Group, focusing in the areas of workforce planning, management, and resourcing.

The Culture and Workforce Officer will work collaboratively to support the Planning Workforce Coordinator in developing and implementing strategies to support and improve the workforce management processes of the Planning Group and work flexibly to support Group and portfolio initiatives.

You will be required to work independently and as part of a team and have strong problem solving and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders within the Planning Group and across the Department.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Business is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience and capability in providing workforce management and HR operations advice to staff, management, and stakeholders, preferably in a government environment.
  • Experience with Success Factors/SAP preferable.

This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2023.
