Position Details

The Sector Governance team is looking for a Senior Project Officer to assist the Project Manager deliver the 2023 board appointment process for Victoria's 18 Water Corporations, 9 Catchment Management Authorities and the Victorian Environmental Water Holder.

The Project Officer will manage information management systems such Springboard and Join a Public Board, coordinate shortlisting, interviews, background checks and notifications to applicants

We are looking for an excellent communicator who works collaboratively with a small team and key stakeholders. A commitment to principles of governance, integrity and increasing diversity on boards is essential for this role.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Experience in using programs such as MS Teams, Zoom, MS Office, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel is essential
  • A working knowledge of the Victorian public sector governance frameworks including Springboard is desired.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 31 October 2023.
