Position Details

The Senior Project Manager will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting effective engagement with local councils and industry partners to implement recommendations from the 2019 Commissioner for Better Regulations' Planning and Building approvals process review.

The successful applicant will develop relationships with external and internal stakeholders, provide expert statutory planning advice and prepare high quality reports, submissions, briefings, and correspondence.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in urban planning, statutory planning, or a related discipline is desireable.
  • Technical knowledge or industry experience of the Victorian planning system, and culture of government
  • Experience in the development and implementation of regulations, policies, and processes, preferably in an area relevant to the Planning portfolio.

This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2023.
