  • This role is a terrific opportunity to contribute as part of a highly dedicated team focussed on delivering exciting projects supporting Victoria's delegated land managers.

The Financial Analyst will support the preparation of financial analysis on portfolio wide issues for senior managers , including briefings and presentation materials, particularly in relation to the institutional reform of the alpine sector.

This role would suit a person with strong finance skills and a demonstrated knowledge of business planning, budget and financial management and performance reporting.

The role will develop close working relationships with key stakeholders in the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning's Finance Division, Department Treasury and Finance and with Alpine Resort Management teams.

This position is designated for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people under s.12 Special Measures of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Accounting / Business (Accountancy / Finance) or post graduate qualifications will be well regarded.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budgetary and performance management processes and systems will also be well regarded.

This is a fixed term position available until 31 December 2022.
