Position Details

Do you have expertise in regulation, permissioning and/or wildlife management? Are you a good communicator and do you have great attention to detail? This role is for you! 

The Senior Project Officer Permissions is a specialist role focused on wildlife regulatory permissions. The role leads the granting and administration of wildlife permits for Victoria's timber plantation industry and provides specialist advice and support on wildlife licensing and permitting to regional Regulatory Operations teams.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of the role of regulators and the use of licences and permits in regulatory practice is essential.
  • An understanding of wildlife management issues and the administration of permits and licences issued under the Wildlife Act 1975 is highly regarded.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2023.
