Position Details

We are seeking a Policy Officer to work with us in the Forest Policy Branch within the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Change (DEECA). The successful candidate will have good policy and critical thinking skills, flexibility and adaptability to readily adjust to changing priorities, and strong interpersonal skills.

The Code Review Team is strongly people focussed and supportive. We are looking for someone who works well with others and wants to make a difference to the environment.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification(s) in public policy, law, natural resource or environmental management or similar is desirable.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2025. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available].
