Position Details

The Senior Advisor – Bushfire Technology Change and Engagement sits within the Technology Solutions Unit (TSU) and provides best practice Communications and Engagement leadership across the Capability & Logistics Branch of the Forest Fire and Regions Group (FFRG) in the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).

This position is responsible for framework that fits the needs of the Technology Solutions Unit and the Forest, Fire and Regions Group, and will work with project and non-project teams to create best practice communications and engagement management plans and to develop compelling content. Importantly, this position also plays a lead role in creating and managing communications processes including objectives, strategies and plans across business-as-usual and project change activities to enable the timely and compliant adoption of organisational and technology changes to help DELWP meet its land management responsibilities.

Identifies issues in common for one or more clients or stakeholders and uses them to build mutually beneficial partnerships; Identifies and responds to stakeholder's underlying needs; Uses understanding of the stakeholder's organisational context to ensure outcomes are achieved.
