Position Details

To be successful in the role you will form effective relationships with storm impacted councils and other stakeholders. You will also develop and implement initiatives that reflect the differing needs of councils with a focus on enabling the provision of strategic guidance and policy advice on recovery and rebuilding. You will understand how government works and deliver projects and reporting in an environment where priorities can change at short notice.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience, in a relevant discipline is required.
  • Experience in government project and / or program management in a relevant field, such as emergency management recovery, planning or working with local councils.

This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2022.
