Position Details

The Manager - Power Saving Bonus Program will be responsible for providing management, governance, information technology, and leadership capabilities to support the project of the recently launched $250 Power Saving Bonus Program, which is scheduled to be available to Victorian households till 30 June 2023.

The position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Power Saving Bonus operations team. This includes managing a team of up to four direct reports and seventy indirect reports, allocating workload, progress reporting and providing support to senior management.

The role requires a diverse set of capabilities and experience as it will involve working across a range of project and program elements, providing rapid project support where required and leading entire workstreams where required.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in the energy sector, program management and/or implementation is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience relating to large scale management of operations teams, information technology projects, and/or executive governance structure is highly desirable
  • An understanding of government, departmental and Ministerial functions and processes is desirable

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2023.
