The Information and Support Officer, Forestry Transition will be the important first point of contact for East Gippsland workers and community members seeking support and information about native forestry transition activities in Orbost and Bairnsdale. The successful applicant will have a strong drive to provide excellence in customer service to deliver improved outcomes for businesses in the region.
The incumbent will greet clients as they engage with Information Hubs in Orbost and Bairnsdale and guide them through how to access the information they require. The access may be through providing information or offering a referral to the agency which can best assist.
The Information and Support Officer will work closely with partner organisations to deliver the service.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- The successful applicant will have business experience and a passion for delivering excellence in customer service. Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders in a regional setting to achieve a common goal will be highly valued.
- An understanding of the GEMS Grant Management system
These are fixed term positions available for a period of 12 months. The work location for these positions are Bairnsdale/Orbost.
