Position Details
As the succesfful applicant you will support the procurement of contingent labour, providing an administration role including data entry, document review and effective record keeping. The role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of a vendor management system and supporting the procurement of contingent labour in compliance with departmental policies and processes and the Victorian State Purchase Contracts. The role requires a strong attention to detail and a willingness to provide excellent customer service. The Procurement Administrator may also support the activities of the Procurement branch on a range of administrative functions in support of the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Experience providing administrative support and utilising software and systems such as financial / contract / vendor management systems.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to perform data entry and review of documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Foundational knowledge of procurement practices and procedures, and capacity to understand and apply the Victorian Government Staffing Services state purchase contract guidelines.
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
