Be part of something bigger
This isn't just another HR role.
It's your chance to help shape the employee experience that supports Victoria's democracy.
We're looking for an HR Business Partner who's curious, people-centred and ready to make an impact. You'll work with a dedicated client group, collaborate across the organisation, and help bring contemporary HR ideas to life.
What makes you stand out
- You're all about people — creating workplaces where everyone feels valued and supported.
- You've got HR experience (or you're growing fast in that space) and want to keep learning what great looks like.
- You know how to build genuine connections, communicate clearly and influence with empathy.
- You bring fresh ideas, stay organised and love seeing your projects make a difference.
What you'll be doing
- Partner with employees, leaders and Members of Parliament to deliver practical HR support — from recruitment and workforce planning to performance and employee relations.
- Travel across Victoria (and to Parliament House) to build trusted relationships with your stakeholders.
- Contribute to exciting HR projects like graduate programs, policy updates, recognition initiatives and new HR tech systems.
- Drive inclusion by helping deliver our Reconciliation, Gender Equality and Disability and Inclusion Action Plans.
Why you'll love it here
- Flexibility that works - collaborate in a hybrid environment, working at Parliament House or our nearby modern offices, and from home.
- Wellbeing first - access health and wellbeing initiatives that actually support you.
- Grow your career - a clear learning framework, mentoring and in-house development programs designed to help you level up.
- Recognition that matters - your ideas, effort and initiative don't go unnoticed.
You'll join a team that values innovation, fairness and purpose — and get to see your work directly support the people who keep our democracy running. For more information about a career with us, visit our website.
