Position Summary:

The Advisor is a key contact and first point of call for general human resources (HR) queries and workforce planning. This position is critical to the service delivery of the end-to-end employment life cycle for Child Protection West Division and in providing sound HR advice to managers and staff based on Legislation, Departmental policy and procedures whilst working in a team across a number of locations.

The Adviser will coordinate and chair workforce meetings with Child Protection Managers and staff  to ensure the integrity of their organisational workforce data and provide expert advice on the workforce and wellbeing of Child Protection staff, strategic workforce planning, and associated recruitment and retention challenges. The Adviser will also participate on some interviews and provide input into broader innovative attraction and retention strategies.
