Position Summary:

The Manager, Harm Reduction in the Drug Policy and Reform unit provides leadership and strategic direction to a small team responsible for oversight of high quality state funded alcohol and other drug harm reduction services across the state, including the medically supervised injecting room.

The role requires initiative, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong stakeholder and relationship management skills and the ability to provide strategic solutions to complex problems that have state wide application.

Building strong stakeholder relationships, ongoing oversight of trends in alcohol and other drug use, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment for the overall unit are also key parts of the role.
